Be the main contact for Less than full time trainees (LTFT), liaising with departments to discuss requests and agreeingindividual working patterns with trainees in line with their agreed contracted hours and ensuring the rota is compliant with both the Working Time Directive and New Deal Plan and organise a number of activities to support the Single Lead Employer including: a. communicate and update managers/ rota co-ordinators and Medical Education of junior doctors in training who will be starting, leaving and moving.b. Update and maintain the allocation tables and changeover trackers ensuring that information is accurate and up to date so managersare aware of what posts are filled/ unfilled.c. Ensure that the SLE datasets are up to date and accurate ensuring that trainees pay bandings are correct.d. Support the Pre-employment Checks (PECS) process for changeover in order that doctors can start on time to ensure patient safety and reduce the reliance on agency/ bank to fill gaps on emergency rotas. This will involve reviewing the PECS position provided by SLE at regular intervals in the run up to changeover, undertaking checks which will include right to work, GMC registration, DBS risk assessments, ID as well liaising with the Occupational Health team and advising departments of health clearance and any restrictions.
