Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Advisor
Plymouth | £45,000 + Company Vehicle and Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-regarded construction and building services contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. The organisation operates across the education, healthcare, defense, and commercial markets with a number of prestigious clients. This role offers fantastic development opportunities, which includes funding for training courses and the opportunity to work alongside the Health and Safety Director.
Responsibilities for the Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Advisor will include:
1. Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation.
2. Visiting site and engaging with site managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related inquiries.
3. Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance.
4. Engaging with the client and other external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact.
The successful Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Advisor will have:
1. Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, property, or building maintenance.
2. Hold a NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent).
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
4. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
