Job Description:
HPE Financial Services - Technology Renewal Operations are at the heart of HPE’s market-leading Circular Economy strategy. We have over 20 years’ experience in the sustainable management of IT equipment. Our facilities are designed to refurbish and remarket preowned equipment. The variety of equipment is diverse, from 25-year-old legacy to current generation HPE Products and Solutions. The successful candidate will form part of a compact, agile, and adaptive engineering team working within the manufacturing operation. The role requires an experienced, creative, and self-motivated individual who would enjoy the daily challenge of a fluid environment filled with technology and its associated challenges.
The role is critical to the success of the asset management business, researching, setting up and maintaining product master data. You will become involved in everything from the physical to the systemic.
Responsibilities:
* Product master data set-up & maintenance in companies core IT system
* Subject matter expert on product master data, providing counsel and expertise to production operation and wider business
* Maintain business required accreditations, supporting internal and external audits as appropriate
* Data modelling, setting up reports to analyze product master data & inventory
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
* 5+ years of relevant industry experience
* Attainment of a Six Sigma belt; Black or Green desired
Knowledge & Skills:
* Relevant industry experience working within a production environment in an engineering capacity
* Knowledge and experience of working with ERP and/or MES applications
* Demonstrable core MSFT Office skills
* Demonstrable data modelling skills
* Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
* Teamwork: the candidate must be able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment
* Able to work well under stress, both internally and across functions while displaying excellent time management skill
