A leading manufacturing company within the defence sector is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Your new role
Support the manufacturing asset and equipment schedule to ensure optimal performance through quality maintenance activities.
* Transition from reactive to planned preventative maintenance.
* Maintain and repair CNC equipment and tooling.
* Diagnose and repair PLCs, Inverters, and Drives.
* Adhere to Agility Maintenance plans.
* Analyse failures to create preventative maintenance regimes.
* Record accurate feedback on tasks and safety concerns.
* Provide leadership and technical guidance during breakdowns.
* Support maintenance strategy development and report defects.
What you'll need to succeed
* 18th edition wiring qualification (HNC) or equivalent, preferably electrical bias.
* Experience in a modern lean manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of PLCs, Inverters, and Drives.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
