ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs for construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budget while meeting the highest quality standards. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare tender documents, manage sub-contractor payments, and ensure that all invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost management, and contract administration, and be able to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. The candidate will mainly be working on small-scale maintenance water projects, for clients such as Thames Water.
REQUIREMENTS
My client will require someone with 5-10 years’ experience working on civils projects. The candidate would ideally like someone to be degree qualified, but this is not crucial depending on the level of experience. They must be commutable distance from their office in Central London and be willing to travel round to different sites in London regularly.
