About the Role:
This position will manage the SQA team and their associated portfolios.
* The focus will be on establishing appropriate policies, procedures, and standards as well as developing the SQA strategy to measure and improve supplier performance.
* Working directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders, this role will implement and manage THG’s Supplier Quality program, ensuring the suppliers are working to correct policies from the outset.
* Identify and mitigate risks to quality throughout the whole product lifecycle from ingredient supply through to production manufacturing and scale up and through to the end customer/consumer.
* Have a high bar for quality, strong customer obsession, and a track record of operating in a dynamic environment.
* Possess a proven ability to influence and steer diverse cross-functional teams.
* Comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and motivated by a fast-paced startup style, with the capacity to invent and simplify different business-oriented ways of operating.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owning product quality from a customer perspective from agreed concept to launch.
* Develop quality assurance programs, ensuring supplier awareness and compliance with THG policies.
* Creating, maintaining, and monitoring quality processes that allow manufacturers to meet our requirements.
* Working with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between business, quality, and food safety requirements.
* Developing feasible action plans to address quality issues and supplier improvement.
* Traveling as needed to meet with suppliers and service providers.
* Leading the SQA Global team, ensuring all infrastructure, resource, and development needs are agreed and planned.
* Developing working relationships with key stakeholder functions – Procurement, NPD, and Manufacturing.
* Development of audit processes and tools to ensure supplier compliance with internal and external (Regulatory) standards and requirements.
* Establishing, managing, and monitoring key performance metrics for suppliers and customer feedback.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in quality systems management.
* Degree qualified or equivalent within a science-related discipline or experience within a Technical function.
* Experience managing 3rd party/internal audits and technical visits.
* Excellent management and communication skills with the ability to develop your team to reach their potential.
* Previous experience in identifying and driving quality and continuous improvement objectives.
* Relevant Food Safety qualifications/experience.
* Experience with BRC and ISO.
Interview Process:

* 2nd stage on-site visit.
* Final stage either Teams or face to face.
