Casual Home Care Support Worker - Unqualified

Home Care Support Workers assist consumers with a range of daily tasks including meal preparation, shopping, transport to appointments, payment of bills, domestic tasks, personal care, community participation, and home and community respite.
Join our highly experienced, supportive, and collaborative Home Care Team. Our Home Care Team is in a period of growth, progression, and expansion and it’s an exciting time to join our organisation and proudly make a difference to the lives of others.
Successful applicants will have:
* Experience or an interest in working in Home Care, Domestic Assistance, and caring for members of the community
* Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, consumers, and their representatives
* Ability to read and interpret consumer's Support Plans
* Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and occasional split shifts
* An interest in obtaining a Certificate III in Home and Community Services, Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
You will be required to have or obtain all of the following:

About REDHS
Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester, which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo, and Shepparton.
We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative, and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.
We enjoy a strong relationship with our community and we are focused on delivering services that meet their needs.
To keep our residents and clients safe, applicants must be willing to provide a current Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Screening Check, and a current influenza vaccination.
All REDHS employees need the ability to clock on and off for shifts using a mobile phone App.
