Contacts Manager – Overview
We are currently working with one of the largest Energy & Asset Management companies in the UK who are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team in the Midlands. This role is part of their O&M Division overseeing contracts across a range of Energy sites such as Energy Centres, District Heating Networks, Solar Farms and more. The company specializes in the Operations and Maintenance of a wide range of systems within these sites such as Steam Boilers, Heat Pumps, Hot Water Boilers, industrial CHP, Steam, MTHW, LTHW boilers, gas, oil, biomass plant, absorption chillers and HVAC systems.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational duties of staff across multiple contracts, complying with Company Policies, Procedures, Site Rules and Safe Working Practices. You will have several sites in your portfolio across the Midlands from Hospitals to Factories, Universities, and one Solar Farm. The sites are based in areas including Nottingham, Northampton, Coventry, Kettering and Wolverhampton.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that the company is a long-term sustainable service provider, building customer relationships and acting as the bridge between the client and our operational delivery teams. Your key responsibility will be to govern across all areas of our O&M service including contract management, team management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction; as well as playing a key role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery is achieved.
This is a mobile role but you will manage your own diary as you see fit, splitting your time between site, office and home.
Contracts Manager – Requirements
1. Experience managing O&M Contracts
2. Served a recognised apprenticeship and qualified to HND / City & Guilds/ NVQ level 3 in Mechanical / Electrical / Gas engineering discipline and registered to the appropriate body required for the role
3. 2-5 years’ client facing experience
