Description Wood is recruiting Senior Project Engineers with extensive experience in the Oil and gas and Petrochemical Industries. We are open to considering staff and contract positions based in Aberdeen. Hybrid Working - Expected to work at least 3 days in Aberdeen office Responsibilities The Role Takes ownership of Projects from Kick off through to close out with responsibility for program and financial forecasting / control Supports delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s) through coordinating and delivering the engineering for an assigned project scope(s) to schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and standards Monitors and supports compliance with quality, HSE and assurance standards Ensures accurate and timely delivery of work, to the satisfaction of both internal and external customers Alerts Project Manager in the event of potential delays or change; supports implementation of approved changes Join a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. Who we are looking for: It would be essential that you have experience of delivering brownfield modifications preferably for North Sea offshore assets Extensive experience gained either as a discipline engineer in a project environment or in more junior project engineering roles Good understanding of technical work scope, key dates and milestones. es Completely familiar with project contractual and commercial requirements Fully conversant with project scopes and work carried out by all engineering disciplines and various interface and inter-discipline coordination requirements among the various disciplines including procurement and construction Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and is able to deliver to internal customers Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices which define and govern Engineering Management and Project Engineering deliverables Understands the importance of Project Engineering deliverables and the need for accuracy and timely issue Commercially astute and aware of the importance of Change control Has a good knowledge of engineering standards, procedures and work practices; follows project execution flow chart; develops skills in project and technical execution Able to lead small team; develops skills of leadership with minimum intervention from the manager If all of this sounds good, follow the link to apply and start your journey with Wood
