As a member of our Customer Delivery Team, you will complete installation/assembly services in our customers’ homes whilst adhering to legislation and Partnership policies. You will also mentor and coach colleagues of varying abilities to achieve their personal development goals and the business secure its strategic aims, showing particular support for those who aspire to become Customer delivery installers. What will you be doing? Your typical day will start with completing all daily vehicle checks and following correct defect reporting procedures. After you have safely loaded/checked your route you will then undertake your deliveries and collections for the day alongside your colleague. Communication with your customers is key and you will need to ensure you call every customer 30 minutes before you are due to arrive. Upon arrival, you will deliver the customer's goods to their room of choice and undertake any services that have been booked. These may include completing Wall Mount TV Installation, Integrated Appliances or Hard Wired Appliances. Please note this role involves heavy lifting. Our Customer Delivery Hub Technicians will demonstrate an enthusiasm for delivering high standards in customer experience, safe and efficient driving and be motivated to carry out their role following legal and best practice requirements. You will act as an ambassador for the John Lewis brand, they are focused on delivering and surpassing the exemplary service expected of us.
