The Role requires the candidate to:
1. Meet with clients to understand the “Employers Requirements”.
2. Produce Scope of Works.
3. Produce full tender submissions with internal support.
4. Produce bill of quantities, schedules of work and contractor's proposal documents to support quotations & tender proposals.
5. Produce bill of materials & call off sheets.
6. Review issued employers requirements, specifications, drawings, tender clarifications and other relevant documents.
7. Ensure that all tender submissions are comprehensively reviewed and quality checked.
8. Attend pre & post tender meetings and site reviews as required.
9. Provide support and guidance to onsite engineers as and when needed.
Essential criteria:
* Circa. 5 years commercial & industrial estimating experience.
* 18th edition qualified.
* Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferable criteria:
* Minimum of 10 years Electrical experience (C&G 2357 - NVQ Level 3).
* Submitting M&E Tender submission (candidate is not responsible for Mechanical quotations).
* Knowledge of using Amtech software.
* Basic knowledge of using AutoCAD.
