We also deliver private care for patients with private medical insurance and for self-pay patients.
We are recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of our Private Services portfolio.

Main duties of the job:
* Overseeing the back-office administrative function for Modality Private Services
* Lead the day-to-day delivery of a high quality, productive and efficient self-pay/insurance services by overseeing the operational function and working in partnership with senior clinicians
* Work in partnership with lead insurers to promote Modality services and support future growth
* Lead on delivering Modality LLP’s marketing strategy in partnership with our marketing partners, including website development and maintenance, paid ad campaigns, social media campaigns, newsletters, events etc.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with medical insurance providers and partner organisations in order to build the organisational portfolio and maximise growth
* Working alongside senior clinicians across self-pay/medical insurance services to develop and oversee high quality secretarial/administrative support
* Regularly review standards of customer service across the operational team and implement training programmes and a culture of continuous learning and development to ensure that standards are maintained
* Work closely with other Modality functions to ensure that team priorities are aligned across the organisational functions and resource is managed effectively
* Work in partnership with Modality NHS Outpatient teams to manage interdependencies between pathways and ensure there is effective communication between NHS and private services staff/teams.
* Leading the day-to-day operation of all self-pay/insurance services by having a strong operational presence and providing direction and support through daily/weekly team meetings, effective communication and by addressing risks and issues promptly.
* Work in partnership with the Senior Team to develop KPIs/standards for self-pay/insurance services e.g. email/phone response times, waiting times etc and embed systems and processes to collect, monitor and evaluate such data.
* Regularly review activity and pathways to understand where processes/systems could be more efficient and taking action to address any inefficiencies.
* Overseeing the development and implementation of new services/pathways i.e. overseeing implementation plans, securing resource and support from other functions e.g. HR, Finance, IT and Governance, recruiting staff and liaising with partner organisations to establish new services/pathways.
* Provide assurances around self-pay/insurance services delivery to the LLP Exec Team through monthly written and verbal updates.
* Supporting the development of key contract submissions for insurance frameworks and supporting contract review meetings, as required.

Person Specification: What are the minimum requirements all candidates need to meet?
Qualifications and Experience: We require high performing team members to join our team with:
* Extensive operational experience in a relevant senior role within the NHS and/or private sector
* Degree and postgraduate level educated or equivalent experience.
* Experience of working in a healthcare environment in a similar capacity, preferably within the private sector
* Good understanding of the national and local context around NHS, self-pay and private medical insurance services
Skills:
* Highly organised
* Proven track record of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with partner organisations
* Extensive experience of working in an operational environment
* Extensive experience of managing large teams
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
* Strong leadership/management skills
* Ability to lead complex negotiations with internal/external partners
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
* Excellent IT skills
* Experience in developing and implementing services
