Monarch education are working closely with an outstanding SEND school in the Worcester area who are seeking a passionate and skilled High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of their students. Key Responsibilities: Assist and support teachers in planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences for students with SEND. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Monitor and assess student progress, keeping accurate records and reporting findings to teaching staff and parents. Supervise and manage the classroom environment, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for learning. Implement lesson plans provided by the teacher, adjusting activities to meet the individual needs of students. Qualifications and Experience: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant role is essential. Previous experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with autism, SEMH, and MLD. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently where required. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
