Role
To ensure that all plant, equipment, and services are safely maintained in line with the company's PPM system and to fulfill all statutory regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the company CMMS system.
2. Report any observations/concerns arising from a PPM activity.
3. Carry out corrective actions quickly and thoroughly to keep plant downtime to a minimum.
4. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
5. Suggest and implement plant improvements.
6. Monitor and request spares in a timely manner to maintain plant and equipment.
7. Accurately complete documentation to enable a traceable and auditable route.
8. Take part in cross-functional task teams to improve machine/process reliability.
9. Share knowledge with the team to improve the overall ability to succeed at the required tasks.
10. Supervise contractors when required, to ensure that they work safely and in line with their documented RAMS.
11. Interact daily with maintenance team, operations, and yard staff to understand the business requirements.
12. Undertake reasonable tasks as allocated by the company in addition to those defined.

Desired Experience
1. PLC and inverter drive systems.
2. Motor control systems.
3. Safety circuits.
4. Types of equipment: screeners, shredders, conveyors, separating equipment.
5. Maintenance of plant within aggregates/quarry/heavy production environment.
6. Time-served apprenticeship.
7. Mechanical training and experience is an advantage.
SHIFTS: Mon-Fri 05:30 - 14:00
Mon-Fri 13:30 - 22:00 (40 hours)
