The Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and professional Credit Controller to join their Revenue Management team, based in their Cheltenham office. This role is key to maintaining strong relationships with clients while ensuring efficient credit control processes and timely payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver an effective and professional credit control service, adhering to the firm's collection policy.
2. Ensure timely billing and compliance with established timelines.
3. Collaborate with management team to resolve outstanding client queries regarding unpaid invoices.
4. Conduct monthly meetings with management team to review debts and address challenging areas.
5. Maintain accurate records of all communications with clients.
6. Perform credit checks for new clients and escalate risk concerns to the Revenue Manager.
7. Contribute to the team's achievement of monthly cash collection and debtor day targets.
What We're Looking For:
1. Solid credit control experience in a professional services environment.
2. A strong understanding of the full working capital cycle.
3. Proven ability to build robust working relationships with managers balancing challenge with customer service.
4. Initiative and problem-solving skills to find effective solutions to challenges.
This is a full time permanent position offering hybrid working with a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 p/a dependant on experience.
