As Guest Host and Driver your role will involve: Be the first point of contact for the guest within the hotel and always provide a warm and friendly welcome with a smile, helping to create memorable experiences ensuring that every guest feels special and wants to return. Communicate effectively and professionally with guests, sharing knowledge of the hotel, the surroundings and things to do in the area whilst utilising your local knowledge to assist guests with their enquiries, directions and reservations In order to deliver luxury service to our guests, drive the hotel car to and from the train station to collect guests and to assist guests with trips they have attended. To be aware of the days business in advance, this should include groups arriving, special occasions, non-hotel guest diners, hotel room availability and events. Positively approach sales opportunities that arise throughout the guest stay, to maximise revenue, by making informed recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the rooms and services of the hotel and using upselling techniques at every appropriate opportunity. Assist guests with their luggage at all opportunities, including but limited to, storage, taking from car to hotel and from reception to room. Maintain cleanliness of hotel vehicle, including daily cleaning and vehicle inspections to identify items to be fixed. Help to achieve consistent positive guest feedback, by anticipating guest needs to enhance service quality and therefore guest satisfaction. To assist with Check in/out on Reception as required, including check in/out, answering calls, issuing duplicate keys to the guests, assisting with taxi bookings and valet parking guest cars. We will support you by giving you the platform to develop, learn & shine! We ask of you have: Experience of working in a customer facing, hospitality role or similar, preferably within a hotel environment A full and valid UK drivers licence with less than 6points is required for this role. Be able to enhance the hotel atmosphere by creating a warm, homely and welcoming environment to our guests. Must have a strong passion and flair for brilliant customer service across all touchpoints of a hotel. Excellent level of English - written and oral Good awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace Competent in using Microsoft Outlook - email and calendar, Excel, Word and conducting internet searches to assist with guests enquiries. Can demonstrate ability to deal with guest complaints in a calm and positive manner and bring to a suitable conclusion.
