Ark Forres supports people of various ages from early twenties to late seventies. The majority of our supported individuals live independently in their own homes, with most residing in accommodation featuring their own flats, communal gardens, and lounge areas. We also offer outreach services for individuals with various health conditions and/or learning disabilities. The support varies from 5 hours a week to 24 hours a day, promoting independence and a good quality of life through a person-centered approach. Additionally, we support individuals living at home with their parents in the community. Due to the nature of our support, shift patterns are variable.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
* Working collaboratively with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable individuals.
* Communicating effectively with our supported individuals to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Being responsible for supporting individuals throughout activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.
