We are looking for a Partnership Development Lead from within the world of Global Sports Rights. This role will lead prospecting, meetings and close commercial deals with a focus on global propositions.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new business proposals and renewal proposals and lead on the creation and delivery of sales presentations.
* Managing sales team
* With the support of the wider sales team, work on the entire sales process: from establishing contacts and developing leads, creating presentations, defining and pricing, and making presentations, through closing deals.
* Responsible for sales and developing contacts in the assigned areas and industries identifying and exploiting new markets.
* Undertake prospect due diligence.
* Leading sales pitches with both international and domestic clients
* Review the existing sales practices and suggest and implement improvements where necessary.
* Provide weekly and regular updates at team sales meetings
* Undertake other responsibilities and projects
Essential experience
* Strong proposal writing skills with a proven track record in developing sales documentation and presentations
* Solid understanding and delivery conventional & digital partnerships
* Sales, negotiation and influencing skills
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a professional approach
* Effective people management and leadership skills
* Global network of contacts within the sports media and sponsorship world
* Budget management experience and ability to produce reports
* Strong knowledge of sponsorship trends
* Flexibility – some weekend work plus travel is a requirement of this role
