Job summary This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Health Care Assistant to join a dynamic and friendly team who are dedicated to providing first-class patient care in women's health. The post holder will work independently as a member of the nursing team in the Outpatient setting, following agreed plans of care pathways. They will provide support for the Registered Nursing staff in maintaining a stable and safe clinical environment. The post holder will be fully competent and knowledgeable with the use of all equipment and accessories used within Gynaecology procedures. The will be expected to complete competencies in all a Gynaecology specialities: Urogynae, Fertility, Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, and Myosure. Main duties of the job The post holder will be fully competent and knowledgeable with the use of all equipment and accessories used within Gynaecology procedures. They will support the registered nurses to ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with departmental and trust policies. They will support with managing patient flow in the unit and coordinating staff appropriately. They will work on a regular basis as part of a team and are competent to work without direct supervision from a registered nurse in specified procedures.
