Residential and Commercial Fire Sprinkler Projects
Full Time – Permanent – Nottingham
We are a family run business that was established in 2006 and have grown organically for many years. Due to this continued growth a new opportunity has arisen to expand our existing team.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, who will specialise in running both commercial and residential fire sprinkler system projects.
What the role will involve:
* Reviewing, amending and management of client contracts
* Responsible for the management of projects from design through to installation and handover, in
accordance with project contracts
* Day to day running of multiple projects
* Ensuring compliance of projects to relevant standards and customer expectation
* Budget/cost management, estimating for additional works and managing cost variations
* Resource planning for existing and new projects
* Regular accounts administration / monthly accounts reconciliation
* Management of Sub-contractors
* Preparation and review of H&S documentation, such as RAMS.
* Attendance at pre-start meetings, progress meetings and handover meetings on site
* Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of a project
* Actively managing, engaging and developing staff to deliver high performance
* Monitoring of site performance, standards and compliance with design requirements
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety & ISO 9001:2015
* Driving internal processes, compliance and standards in line with Health & Safety
We Ideally seek a candidate with:
* Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in sprinklers or 5 years’ experience in a construction or mechanical/electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Have a good understanding of, or qualification in, LPC rules, BS EN 12845 and BS9251
* Have a sound understanding of, or qualification in, commercial contractual issues/law
* Display strong leadership skills
* Have a pragmatic and proactive approach to problem solving
* Be organized, flexible and self-motivated and have excellent communication skills
* Have the ability to identify and drive forward continuous improvement
* Hold site qualifications such as CSCS, SMSTS or similar
* Have some experience with programs such as AUTOCAD, Canute FHC, Revit
* Have a full driving licence for at least 12 months, with no previous ban
* Reviewed annually
* Core hours – 38.5 per week
