Job Description
The Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:
1. Identifying and engaging new business opportunities within the high-end hospitality sector.
2. Managing the full sales cycle - from prospecting to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
3. Building long-term relationships with clients and understanding their business needs.
4. Staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
5. Collaborating with internal teams (procurement, finance) to ensure smooth client onboarding and continued account growth.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
1. Proven sales experience - preferably in hospitality B2B sales or a similar GPO role.
2. Industry knowledge - you understand the UK hospitality market and have existing connections.
3. Relationship-driven approach - you know how to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
4. Self-motivated and goal-oriented - you are comfortable working independently and managing your own targets.
5. Effective communication skills - from pitching to negotiating, you can manage high-level conversations.
6. Tech-savvy - experience using CRM tools (Salesforce) and digital sales channels.
7. Willingness to travel - you will be meeting clients across Greater London.
