Position: Optometrist
Location: Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire
Salary: Package up to 50,000 depending on experience + bonus + 10,000 joining bonus paid on successful completion of probation (terms apply)
Working hours: Full time hours, working on a 4-day week with weekend flexibility
Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC
We have a brand-new and exciting role for an ambitious Optometrist to join our highly successful store in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.
Due to planned expansion within the store, we are looking for an Optometrist who is ready to use their passion and knowledge to help build on our ever-growing and loyal customer base. You will join a team of 17 dedicated and passionate colleagues who call this store home. With expansion plans in the near future, Stonehaven will be increasing to 4 test rooms all fully equipped with the highest and newest clinical technology including OCT, Nidek Phoropters as well as a Nidek Tonoref III.
Specsavers in Stonehaven first opened its doors in 2010. The store sits in a prime location in Market Square in the heart of the town and is firmly embedded within the local community. Stonehaven, a pretty harbour town which lies on Scotlands northeast coast, south of Aberdeen. The town is famous for the Hogmanay Fireball festival, an ancient tradition which is celebrated each New Years Eve where people swing blazing balls above their heads to ward off evil spirits. Sitting just off the A90/A92, there are excellent transport links to the store with buses and a train station just over a 10-minute walk away.
