International Business Development Manager (Engineering)\n\nUK – WFH\n\nPermanent\n\nSalary negotiable with structured commission\n\nWe are working with a manufacturing company who are looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset, excellent communication skills and who enjoys chasing down opportunities. This company operate within international engineering/manufacturing markets.\n\nThey are looking for someone who enjoys international travel, sometimes short notice. You will be experienced taking a consultive sales approach, producing tenders for main contractors and government bodies internationally.\n\nThis opportunity is offered working from home, with monthly visits to head office; you will live near to an international airport.\n\nBrief role outline\n\n * You will Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets within a defined sector.\n\n * Communicating with government authorities, design consultants, contractors, OEMs, and clients worldwide.\n\n * Attend and exhibit at international trade shows, client visits, and trade missions (annually)\n\n * Provide technical sales support, guiding clients from initial inquiry to final product selection.\n\n * Manage the sales process from inquiry to quotation, ensuring accurate pricing and margin calculations in multiple currencies.\n\n * Follow up on inquiries, pull together tenders, and generate new leads.\n\nBackground\n\n * Previous relevant experience selling manufactured/engineered products\n\n * Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.\n\n * Strong communication and organisational skills.\n\n * Ability to recognise when to sell versus when to focus on relationship building.\n\n * Highly process-driven, ensuring smooth sales progression from concept to completion.\n\n * Confident decision-making and ability to take initiative.\n\n * The role requires some overseas travel: flexibility for travel when required.\n\nPlease apply with your CV via the apply button
