Commercial Insurance Broker
Barker Munro recruitment, the go-to specialist insurance recruitment agency in Kent, is working on behalf of this established insurance Broker who is embarking on the next phase of their expansion and has a need for a Commercial Insurance Broker.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for a number of renewals each month (mainly telephone based).
2. Obtain updated information from clients, negotiate with Insurers, and sell benefits of renewal to clients.
3. Deal with a wide range of commercial insurance risks including contractors/motor fleet with premium levels of between £500 and £30,000.
4. Manage midterm alterations/policy changes, set up computer records, issue documents to clients, check incoming proposal forms, manage diaries, renewal rebroking, and create client schedules.
5. Visit clients when required.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and solid commercial insurance experience, gained within an Insurance Broking environment in the UK. It will suit someone who is career-minded, highly motivated, and enjoys relationship building/liaising with clients.
