The Role
As a Site Agent, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality engineering and construction solutions. Working closely with the Senior Management team, you’ll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve.
The Project
You’ll be part of the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) in Rede — one of the UK’s largest infrastructure undertakings. This groundbreaking project connects a network of pipelines to move water from areas of surplus to those in need, ensuring resilience to drought and safeguarding water supplies for generations to come.
Your Responsibilities
1. Oversee direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring all work meets time, quality, and budget targets.
2. Provide technical support to overcome challenges and resolve queries.
3. Manage setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction.
4. Drive a proactive approach to health and safety on-site.
5. Coordinate temporary works, inspections, and testing regimes.
6. Engage with stakeholders and attend key meetings to represent Farrans.
7. Monitor commercial performance and ensure accurate submission of records for payments.
What You Bring
1. Proven experience supervising engineering teams and subcontractors.
2. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
3. Solid knowledge of construction standards and specifications.
4. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications (CSCS/CSR card, First Aid at Work).
5. Full driving license and willingness to travel.
