About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is vital in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing customer relationships.
Main duties include:
1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders, maximising sales where possible.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to a positive team performance and work on personal sales benchmarks.
7. Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge.
8. Keep customer-facing areas of the branch clean and tidy.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
10. Promote a good image of the company, representing our values professionally.
11. Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.
Working hours: Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekend work.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Positive approach to customer queries, proactively seeking resolutions.
5. Confident in using IT and computer systems.
6. Ability to work well with others.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
9. Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
