What is the role?
As a Commissioning Engineer at Trinity, you will be providing installation and completing commissioning work to our client’s fire and security systems. You will be completing the scheduled work in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Trinity’s high-quality standards. You will be working as part of a skilled team of Commissioning Engineers and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.
Key tasks include:
1. Carry out all other necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Company’s quality standards.
2. Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
3. Liaise with works administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our commitments are met.
4. Work to a planned commissioning schedule.

What skills do you need?
1. Experience in installing and completing commissioning on Honeywell and Vesda systems to relevant British Standards.
2. Experience installing and commissioning PA/VA systems such as Honeywell/Baldin Boxall would be advantageous.
3. To always provide outstanding customer service.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication.
What technical knowledge do you need?
1. FIA module holder for commissioning and BS5839.
2. EVCS knowledge.
3. A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of fire, intruder, CCTV and access control problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.
4. Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
5. Manufacturers training with a minimum requirement of Notifier and Gent equipment in respect of commissioning.
