ABOUT THE ROLE You will support the Organisational Development (OD), Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), People Experience (PX), and Health and Safety (H&S) teams by delivering high-quality administrative assistance while completing a Level 3 apprenticeship. The role involves organising training sessions, supporting events, responding to queries, managing data, and improving administrative processes to enhance a seamless and customer-focused service. The apprentice is responsible for building effective relationships across teams, prioritising tasks under the OD Coordinator's guidance, and contributing to events such as awards, inductions, and conferences, all while developing relevant skills and knowledge for the position. The training provider working with us to deliver the apprenticeship is SMART Training and Recruitment. Under the apprentice scheme, a minimum of six hours will be invested in training towards the achievement of your qualification. In addition to the support offered through the training provider, a workplace mentor will provide practical advice and guidance throughout the duration of your apprenticeship. The role is fixed term for a duration of 24 months. ABOUT THE TEAM As part of the Human Resources Service at the University, the OD Administrator (Apprentice) will be based primarily in the Pandon Building at the City Campus, working in a professional and collaborative environment. The role supports the Organisational Development (OD), Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), People Experience (PX), and Health and Safety (H&S) teams, contributing to a range of essential services such as training, events, and process improvements.
