The Commercial Solar PV Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in the company's expansion by developing and closing solar project sales over 100kWp in the B2B environment. With a robust understanding of Solar PV project development, the candidate will assess energy projects from economic and legal perspectives, identify profitable opportunities, and drive projects to successful order closures. This role offers the prospect of significant career development. General overview of tasks will involve; Lead business development, networking, and public framework relationships. Define target markets and contacts, leading engagement strategies. Manage relationships and accounts with new and existing customers. Collaborate with marketing to enhance sales strategies. Handle stakeholder relationships, both externally and internally. Engage with design and production teams to ensure timely contract delivery. Actively participate in all aspects of project development and management Experience & Skills Required Excellent understanding of the Solar PV energy marketplace. Ability to represent the company at all levels. Demonstrable experience in selling Solar PV energy projects over 100kWp or relevant construction products and services. Proficient in software packages such as AutoCad, PVSol, and PVSyst. Capability to coordinate team efforts in tender and bid development. Knowledge of bid requirements within the renewable energy industry. Strong leadership, people management, IT, and communication skills. Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
