Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Description:
The front of house/Reception is the first person most patients and visitors will meet on arrival at the clinic. First
impression by being friendly, polite, and courteous manner is vital along with perfect presentation.
In this role, a potential candidate needs to demonstrate good communication skills with all types of people.
Applicants with a background in the hospitality or healthcare industry are ideally suited to this job.
Shift work is normal in this role and there might be some weekend work upon request of your line manager.
Professional Responsibilities:
1. As part of our team providing a first-class reception service and provide a highly customer focused front of
2. house service to our customers and business partners attending the Unit/Centre
3. Welcoming visitors and patients to the service and offering them refreshments.
4. Participate in the billing process and some finance responsibilities, which will include taking
5. payments, providing receipt and ensuring cash handling procedures are compiled; checking insurance
6. details
7. To ensure correct charges are raised in a timely fashion and all revenue is captured
8. To proactively manage the patient’s administrative pathway in the delivery of clinical services
9. Ensure the accurate and timely input of administrative data within the company’s business administration
10. systems to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services
11. Ensure the public areas of the Unit/Centre are clean and tidy
12. Manage the delivery of post and supplies arriving at site
13. To remain vigilant of security and aware of all personnel, patients, consultants, visitors and staff entering
14. the building at all times
15. Assist in other areas of the Centre when necessary
16. Be familiar with and practice the requirements set out around Duty of Candor
17. Maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff, and other health service business and
18. meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (2018) at all times
19. Adhere to company policies
20. Essential:

Desirable:
31. Knowledge of the Data Protection Act
