Are you a passionate leader with experience in elderly care and the confidence to manage a team independently? We're seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager for a well-regarded residential home for older adults.
About the Role
In this key position, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care and safety for residents. With the General Manager overseeing multiple sites, this role is ideal for someone confident in independent leadership and decision-making to enhance quality and care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and motivate care teams to provide exceptional resident support.
2. Ensure smooth operations, meeting health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.
3. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
4. Mentor staff and promote professional development.
5. Monitor quality standards to ensure CQC compliance.
6. Tackle operational challenges and resolve issues promptly.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience in a leadership role within a care setting.
2. Strong communication and team management skills.
3. Knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation.
4. Confident decision-maker, especially in the manager's absence.
5. Compassionate and resident-focused approach.
6. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 4, 5, or equivalent).
