About the Provision:
This alternative provision offers a unique educational setting for young people who have struggled in mainstream schools or have special educational needs. With a strong focus on vocational learning, they provide courses such as Hair and Beauty, Construction, and more, equipping students with practical skills to progress into further education and employment.
The Role:
The Youth Worker will play a vital role in supporting students and tutors, providing one-to-one support and intervention to help students overcome barriers to learning. By building strong relationships, offering guidance, and fostering a positive environment, the successful candidate will contribute to students' personal and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored one-to-one support and intervention for students.
* Assist tutors in delivering vocational subjects, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with staff to monitor and track student progress.
* Support students in developing confidence, resilience, and key life skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
