Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our porters team within the Emergency Department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
1. To be responsible for the transport of patients, and hospital equipment between the wards and departments.
2. To assist in the provision of a high quality, courteous service to the patients, wards and departments of the Hospital.
3. To maintain high standards of patient care.
4. To liaise with nursing, medical and clerical staff within the department in order to provide a seamless service.
5. To maintain good and effective working relationships with other departments and service providers throughout the Trust.
