Thorn Baker has teamed up with a national specialist sub-contractor, who specialise in the design, build, commissioning, and maintenance of bespoke pump station solutions for the construction industry and have over fifty years of experience in the water industry. Due to growing business needs, they are offering an amazing opportunity for experienced Pump System Engineers to work in a growing, dynamic business within the construction supply industry. To start with, the role will be on a part-time, temporary basis (21 hours per week) but there is potential for this position to become permanent in the future, depending on business needs.

Required Skills:
* Ideally an HNC Electro/Mechanical Engineering or VQ Level 3 technical qualification.
* Confined space.
* CSCS.
* Health and Safety awareness, ability to carry out Risk Assessments.
* Extensive experience in installations, fault finding, test & repairs (pumps & a range of controls).
Your Responsibilities:
* Installing and commissioning pumping stations, both private and adoptable, to the relevant Water Authority specification.
* Attending customer sites to carry out site surveys, with detailed reports to assist in preparing proposals for refurbishments.
* Attending customer sites to complete fault finding, installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of industrial pumping stations and equipment.
* Installation, repair, and testing of pump and control equipment to ensure compliance with company and manufacturer standards.
* Servicing and maintaining pumping stations.
* Fault finding, able to identify faults and rectify.
