Domin are developing several new and exciting products which apply our servo valve and related technology across a variety of industries including aerospace, marine and automotive.
We are looking for a driven and self-motivated engineering graduate to join the electronics team. The applicant will work across a range of projects and products including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, active suspension systems, compact integrated hydraulic power packs and advanced test rigs. You will adapt existing designs, incorporate novel solutions, and propose new concept designs to meet customer needs across a range of challenging environments.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their work and will be proactive in proposing and delivering appropriate solutions and demonstrate an ability to manage their workload effectively to meet project goals. You will have an eye for detail and develop broad and deep knowledge to work effectively with complex systems.
The role will develop based on the skills, aptitudes and professional development direction of your career, and its alignment with customer projects and other business needs.
You will be expected to develop and apply skills and knowledge in a diverse range of disciplines relating to electronics including:
1. Electronic circuit design & simulation.
2. Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
3. PCB assembly and rework as required for prototyping.Circuit, PCBA and product level testing using lab equipment and bespoke test equipment.
4. Development and test of embedded software using modern C++ including hardware abstraction, automated build and test systems and CI/CD workflows using Github
The role will be based in our office in central Bristol and you will be required to attend the production and development facility in Pucklechurch on the outskirts of Bristol on regular basis to support the integration of electronic hardware into the end-product during the product development process.
Your contracted hours will be 40 per week with the option of working compressed hours for a 9-day fortnight with every other Friday off.

Essential Requirements
12. Electronic Engineering or closely related subject with a 2:1 or First-Cass degree.
13. A passion for engineering and its application to solve problems in the real world.
14. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
15. Able to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and to solve problems inside and outside their area of expertise.
16. Excellent electronics fundamentals including analogue and digital circuit design, power electronics, control theory, and motor control.
17. Demonstrated application of relevant engineering skills through industrial placement, previous work experience or course related and extracurricular engineering projects.
18. Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout in KiCAD, Altium Designer or similar ECAD package.
19. Motivated and professional personality.
