Job Description
The Line Cook works efficiently, safely and quickly producing high-quality food and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Line Cook maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Functions:
1. Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required. All Cleveland Metroparks employees must be prepared to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
2. Prepares quality food according to standardized recipes.
3. Maintains a clean, safe facility that fall in line with local Health Department Regulations.
4. Adheres to portions and preparation guidelines for cost effectiveness.
5. Reviews and adheres to schedule.
6. Takes care of guests needs and food orders/specifications with immediacy and accuracy.
7. Ensures compliance with Health Department codes and regulations.
8. Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
9. Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
10. Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.
