Due to the continued expansion in both the Group and within individual companies, we are now seeking a Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting businesses with existing and new opportunities, managing financial activities and ensuring compliance with regulations. This person will join a small and friendly finance team, reporting to the Finance Director and supporting 2 Accounts Assistants. Key Responsibilities: Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Act as a critical friend to each of the businesses providing commercial performance analysis against key product areas and assisting with inflight adjustments to business plans throughout the financial year. Collaborate with business managers to monitor costs, manage budgets, and ensure profitability. Conduct cost control analysis and provide recommendations for improvement. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Oversee the financial management of the company, including accurate and timely financial and management reporting. Manage and provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other institutions. Maintain robust internal financial controls. Deputise for the Finance Director when required Key Requirements: Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team. Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide insights. Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
