Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the fleet team, senior management, and wider stakeholders to understand current challenges and opportunities within the fleet service, advising key points to the Assistant Director Environment. Service Restructure: Advise and help inform a restructure of the fleet service. Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the fleet team and workshop staff. Compliance and Safety: Support O-License holders and ensure health and safety compliance for all drivers. Vehicle Replacement Plan: Develop and manage an ongoing vehicle replacement plan, including budgeting. Fleet Decarbonisation: Create and implement a fleet decarbonisation plan. Savings Initiatives: Support and implement savings initiatives. Pool Cars and Workshops: Manage pool cars and vehicle workshops.
