Science Teacher – Alternative Education Centre (Sunderland)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver inspiring and tailored science lessons to small groups of students
2. Support learners with varying abilities, including those with SEN needs
3. Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
4. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create personalised learning plans
5. Encourage students to develop confidence and skills through creative and practical approaches to science
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching science across Key Stages 3 and 4
8. Strong behaviour management skills and a flexible, empathetic approach
9. A passion for working with students outside of mainstream education
