Job Title: Electrical Engineer

An established organization is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in electrical installation, fault finding, and maintenance, who is committed to high standards of safety and quality. The position offers an opportunity to work on varied projects, including metal conduit work, wiring systems, and comprehensive electrical testing such as EICR and emergency lighting assessments.
Electrical Engineer Position Overview:
Broad competency in electrical installation, including metal conduit work and wiring systems.
Proficiency in fault finding, maintenance, and installation tasks.
Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures, including EICR and emergency lighting testing.
Ability to work independently and manage reactive works efficiently.
Expertise in using a job management system to produce clear, concise, and accurate reports, including electrical compliance certifications. Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Installations: Execute a variety of installations, emphasizing metal conduit work and wiring systems.
Fault Finding & Maintenance: Proactively identify and resolve faults to ensure high-quality maintenance and installations.
Electrical Testing: Conduct essential testing activities, including EICR and emergency lighting assessments.
Autonomous Reactive Works: Take initiative to efficiently complete reactive works as required.
Reporting: Utilize the job management system to document completed tasks, identify further work needed, and certify electrical compliance. Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2, alongside the 18th Edition (essential).
Additional Certifications: City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 in inspection and testing (favorable).
Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of BS7671 (UK Wiring Regulations).
Health & Safety: Excellent grasp of health and safety practices, including risk assessments and method statements.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in test certification processes and IT literacy.
CSCS Card: Valid CSCS card required.
Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license (essential).
Desirable: First Aid training, PASMA, and IPAF certifications are preferred. What we offer:
