About Us:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to work at a practice based in a village in the well sought after suburb of Cheadle. With its array of local amenities and good schooling and the vibrant cities of Liverpool and Manchester a stone's throw away, this is a great location to live and work.
Our client has been providing outstanding veterinary care for over 20 years and has recently moved to a much larger, custom refitted premises. This modern fully-equipped practice can now offer an in-house laboratory, dentistry, x-rays, ultrasound, separate cat and dog wards, separate orthopaedic theatre and much more. They are looking for someone who loves clinical work and is confident with general anaesthesia and nursing medical and surgical patients. Your daily tasks will include nurse consults, anaesthetics, assisting with surgery, radiography, dentals, clinical coaching and developing students.

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional care to all clients and patients.
2. Assist with surgeries and procedures, managing both pre- and post-operative duties.
3. Conduct nurse-led appointments and engage in Schedule 3 procedures.
4. Monitor patient care and ensure their wellbeing throughout their stay.
5. Handle admissions and discharges under veterinary guidance.
6. Oversee patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care services.
7. Dispense and review medications accurately.
8. Uphold professional excellence by adhering to regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
9. Facilitate team briefings to ensure smooth day-to-day practice operations.
