Job Description
Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Utilise operational experience and knowledge to contribute towards the commissioning of existing and new learning disability services.
2. Undertake a programme of service reviews to ensure that care and support is proportionate and that services are achieving value for money.
3. Support a full range of commissioning activity whilst ensuring effective partnership working that adopts a whole system approach.
4. Contribute towards shaping the local market that responds and delivers creative, innovative models of care and support that delivers positive outcomes to our local population whilst achieving value for money.
5. Liaise with other professionals.
Working Hours: 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
Contract Duration: 2 Month Temporary Contract
Start Date: Subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
