We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused General Manager to join the team in Banbury within the Healthcare and Specialist Logistics business unit. The successful applicant with be responsible for day-to-day operational performance of warehouse operations for multiple customers. The key responsibilities in this role include; Responsible for day-to-day operational performance of warehouse operations for multiple customers. Including H&S, Quality, Service Delivery and Commercial Performance of the sites. Lead the customer relationship, ensuring that they are promoters of DHL as measured by CXM, leading the Customer Satisfaction Survey (CXM) outcome to ensure that DHL are seen as Provider of Choice for all customers. Leading the employee engagement strategy that ensures that DHL are Employer of Choice in the local area, measured by annual EOS. Own the execution of compliance including H&S, Quality Regulatory and all other Operational Excellence requirements. Develop the operational solution of a new site and then lead the implementation and customer transition. Ensure all aspects of service KPI's are delivered for all warehouse and freight activity, financial performance is within the agreed budget or justify variances and weekly performance metrics are understood and managed. Now, here's what we need from you: Previous Senior Operations/General Management experience, within a complex warehouse and transport contract – Desirable Commercially focused, CXM and a high level of customer management at a senior level. Experience of playing a leading role in new site startups, closures, and customer transitions - Desirable Customer Leadership experience with a commercial focus and understanding of closed book contracts, ideally with multiple customers of a complex nature.
