Job title: E&I FP&A Accountant Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £47,683 (Depending on skills and experience) What you’ll be doing: Support the identification of end-to-end process and data improvements, and support the implementation of IT improvements. Actively contribute to the delivery of FP&A modernisation initiatives to drive standardisation, drive efficiency and effectiveness Support the delivery of high-quality FP&A services to the E&I businesses, providing quality, forward looking information and analysis. Support the financial reporting and consolidation of the monthly accounts (MMR/Hyperion) with focus on timely and accurate information where required Support the core financial reporting processes from end to end: capturing requirements, creating and communicating plans, reviewing inputs, providing synthesis and issuing reporting. Support the Half Year and Full Year Statutory Reporting process and provide support to external audit during these periods Your skills and experiences: Essential: Part-qualified Accountant – Must be studying towards a professional accounting membership (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or ICAEW) and a proven track record in the FP&A domain Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting policies coupled with excellent planning and process management skills Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish efficient and effective working relationships and to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation Broad experience of Tableau/Power BI software as well as Finance systems such as Planning Analytics/Infor LN/SAP Experience of supporting and developing improvement initiatives Must be a proactive individual who is keen to learn and drive change Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The E&I FP&A Team: Within the finance function, Financial Planning and Analysis teams are responsible for leading the delivery of high quality and forward-looking financial analysis and insights to the business. Bringing together FP&A experts from across the UK footprint, they are the primary points of contact into business Finance Directors and Finance Business partners and provide crucial insights on business and financial performance. The FP&A team work alongside other finance capabilities to drive the enhancement of key business processes, working towards establishing data driven and digitally enabled performance reporting to meet the future business needs.
