Construction Planning Manager Position: Planning Manager Location: Commutable from Doncaster, Lincoln, York, Sheffield, Hull, Selby, Harrogate, Grimsby, Scunthorpe. Hybrid working available. Salary: £85 - £100k car ( inc fuel card) or car allow, healthcare and bonus The role: Our client would like to recruit an experienced Construction Planning Manager / Planning Consultant. They are a respected and established main contractor covering a wide range of sectors within Civils and Building arena, working across the whole of the UK. They require a Planning Manager / Planning Consultant to provide analytical support to the progression and resolution of delay claims in addition to supporting the strategic direction of construction projects / programmes. Skills and experience required : Ability to forensically investigate and analyse baseline and progress-updated programmes using the programming software, including making appropriate logic changes to analyse the nature and extent of both critical and non-critical delay Preparation of delay claims and reports Experience with Extension of Time Claims, Variations and Compensation Events Lead development of a commercial strategy to successfully recover performance of distressed projects or programmes An appreciation of the common methods of delay analysis, as set out in the Society of Construction Law Delay and Disruption Protocol Happy to coach and train your delay analysis within the business and encourage their professional progression Manage the appointment of Expert Witnesses and legal services You must have the following: Significant previous experience working as a Planning Manager, Planning Consultant, Senior Planner or similar in the Construction industry Experience in using programming software including Primavera and Asta Powerproject To find out more about the Planning Manager role please contact Steve Ball on the number provided Steve Ball Recruitment Ltd are a recruitment business specialising in the delivery of recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
