Role Summary : As an experienced Graphic Designer, you will join our UK marketing team based in our Basingstoke office in Hampshire. The successful Graphic Designer will collaborate with the marketing team as well as other internal teams and stakeholders to understand their specific design needs, producing high quality graphic content that effectively communicates the company’s products. In this role you will stay updated on industry trends, design best practices and emerging technologies to bring fresh and innovative design ideas to the table. Job Responsibilities: Conceptualise and create innovative and visually appealing designs for both digital and print mediums, including but not limited to websites, social media assets, event booths, brochures, advertisements, presentations, infographics and other materials. Collaborate with other marketing team members and other teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences, ensuring that design solutions align with the overall brand strategy. Lead the entire design process, from ideation and sketching to final execution, ensuring adherence to established brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across all visual assets. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that deliverables are of a high quality and completed on time. Collaborate with external vendors and control results of their work by way of clear, transparent communication. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company’s visual brand identity, ensuring that all design materials are in line with the company brand guidelines, reflect the company’s values and resonate with the target audience. Assist in the creation and maintenance of design templates and assets, optimizing workflows and streamlining the design process. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications: A degree in Graphic Design, Art and Design is preferable but not essential if you have a strong portfolio. Proven experience (2 years) working as a graphic designer either in-house or an agency. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and an understanding of design principles. Expert knowledge in the Adobe CS suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus. Ability to evaluate creative briefs or project instructions to ensure information is understood and actionable prior to executing design work. Solid understanding of branding and marketing concepts, with the ability to translate business goals and target audience insights into effective visual communication. Strong ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines across all mediums. Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to internal teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, colour theory, and composition. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, taking ownership of projects from start to finish. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of web design principles and experience designing for responsive and mobile platforms is a plus Knowledge of creating and editing videos for various uses is a plus.
