EHSQ Manager (construction) London Attractive Salary package The opportunity has arisen for a EHSQ Manager to join the London team. The ideal candidate will either have lift industry experience or a solid background within the construction industry. The successful candidate will have a good grasp of quality, environment and H&S safety standards, be proficient in audits and proven track record in his type of role. The EHSQ Manager will be responsible for Implementing the EHSQ strategy for Otis in order to achieve goals and injury reduction targets Providing technical and EHSQ management advice, support and guidance to managers and employees on all matters relating to EH&S issues, programs and systems. Support the implementation of all the audit processes through design and planning of the processes, training of participants and leaders and recommending and implementing continuous improvement efforts. Carry out audits as required. Manage and be accountable for specific EH&S projects to ensure compliance with legislation, Otis requirements and injury reduction. Investigate, propose and follow through developments in Otiss safety and environmental management systems. Support the management in the investigation of all accidents including serious accidents, identify root causes of accidents and develop corrective action plans. Work with and provide input to customers and other organisation to assist the Company in discharging its responsibilities to its employees, customers and the community Contribute to the development and implementation of Otiss EHSQ management system with effective and innovative health and safety policies and procedures that ensure that the wider aims and objectives of the Otis are supported. Contribute to the annual operational planning process, document and communicate plans, support updates as required and conduct metric-based progress reviews Develop and deliver EHSQ training as required. This includes the introduction and implementation of e-learning solutions. Co-ordinates and conducts business inspection audits Provide advice on Construction and CDM related issues Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting on accidents, corrective actions, environment, audits, leading indicator and any additional items that may be required. Responsible for the completion of specific goals, objectives and tasks related to this position as assigned by the EHSQ Director. Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures. To be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health, Safety and Quality procedures. Complete quarterly ethics module To fully comply with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, RAMS The EHSQ Manager will have qualifications and knowledge in EH&S professional qualification required ( NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent) Environmental qualification required (IEMA Cert or equivalent) ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 auditor (desirable) Construction project management experience BSc/BA desired Experience in implementing EH&S programs Training qualification and experience CIEH professional trainer Knowledge of lift and escalator industry Current with EHSQ practices and legislation Fluent written and spoken English.
