Automation Engineer (7 Month FTC)

What you'll be doing:
In collaboration with other business areas and stakeholders, the Automation Engineer will be responsible for delivering against the test strategy and devising test plans relating to the strategic change programme. They will also need to support the programme through effective communication at all levels of the organisation including our partners. The role will involve testing across all software phases: system, regression, integration, performance, user acceptance testing, and automation.
1. Assist the Test Manager and Test Leads in planning and delivering all test activities for the programme.
2. Collaborate with internal & external partners to deliver against the agreed test activities and deliverables in a timely manner.
3. Actively participate in planning activities and provide test effort against the work required to be carried out.
4. Responsible for producing test collateral and gaining sign off from the appropriate parties/individuals/business areas.
5. Responsible for test planning and leading execution of the test plan.
What we’re looking for:
1. 3+ Years of test automation using Selenium web driver or similar.
2. Excellent programming experience using Java or C#.
3. Experience of designing and implementing automation frameworks/solutions.
4. Experience of automation using cloud-based test solutions such as BrowserStack/SauceLabs.
5. Proven experience and knowledge of working with Cucumber/Specflow.
6. Good knowledge and experience of DevOps and/or Jira.
7. Proven experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
