Workday Specialist Reporting to the Chief People Officer the Workday Specialist will play an integral role in the successful implementation of the People Team Workday Roadmap. You will be actively supporting with the broader People Team and the business in capturing requirements, offering solutions, configuring, testing and implementation. You will have strong Workday configuration skills with expertise in HCM, Recruiting, Performance, Security, Time & Absence and Advanced Reporting. Key Responsibilities: Create a user-friendly, optimised HRIS platform. Analyse and optimise HR workflows and processes to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. Configure and test new functionalities, business processes, and modules within Workday. Collaborate with internal customers to capture their requirements and configuration decisions based on best practices. Help, advise and train the People team on using People tools best practice. Provide an excellent customer experience by troubleshooting complex problems and investigating and resolving errors quickly and efficiently. Offer tailored solutions and guide users in configuring Workday changes as per the Workday Roadmap Resolve system queries and issues raised or escalated by users. Manage the EIB upload process as part of the People calendar, typically occurring three to four times a year. Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill the HR team and enhance the capabilities of business users. Develop comprehensive guides and materials for ongoing support. Create and configure compensation grade profiles, salary plans, allowance plans, and bonus plans, including eligibility rules Configure business processes for various HR modules, including Hire, Termination, Recruiting, Talent Management, Performance, and Compensation. Understand and deliver system integrations to ensure seamless operation within the Workday environment. Design, build, test, and implement reporting, dashboards, and discovery board requirements to support HR operations. Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to optimise HR workflows and processes. Analy s e and optimi s e HR workflows and processes to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. Configure and test new functionalities, business processes, and modules within Workday. Desired Experience: Demonstrable experience of hands-on experience working with Workday integration tools, including Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders), Calculated Fields, and Custom Reports, resulting in successful launch, running and ‘fixed’ snags. Proven track record of rebuilding and optimising Workday processes and integrations in a post-go-live/post-production environment. Experience in configuring and customising Workday systems to meet business needs, including module setup and workflow adjustments. Strong understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM), with the ability to configure, maintain, and optimise HCM processes. Exposure to or experience with Workday’s Compensation Module is advantageous. Solid background in HR systems, design methodology, and system implementations, ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with business objectives. Excellent skills in building relationships and managing stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across departments. Ability to work autonomously with an "always thinking" mindset, leveraging own initiative to solve complex challenges and continuously improve system processes.
