We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our client's team in Ipswich. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy: Develop and implement the production sales strategy, setting clear objectives and measurable goals. Performance Review: Regularly review team performance with the Sales & Marketing Director, identifying areas for improvement. Resource Planning: Manage resource planning and budgeting within the sales team. Team Recruitment & Training: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Team Leadership: Motivate and lead the team to achieve department KPIs. Performance Management: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to review performance and discuss training needs. Coaching & Support: Provide coaching and support to enhance sales performance, including feedback sessions. Sales Support: Offer hands-on support with sales opportunities, including face-to-face meetings and virtual calls. Collaboration: Work constructively with other managers to achieve company targets. Daily Management: Run daily team huddles and manage day-to-day resourcing. Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks reasonably requested. Performance Objectives: Objective Achievement: Meet department objectives within the agreed timeframe, including sales revenue and gross profit targets. KPI Consistency: Consistently achieve agreed KPIs and measurable goals. Budget Adherence: Adhere to the agreed department budget. Skills Required: Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading and coaching a team, providing timely feedback, and holding courageous conversations. Sales Methodology: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the company's sales methodology. Sales Achievement: Strong track record of achieving sales objectives. Resource Planning: Ability to assess capacity utilization and plan for future resourcing needs. Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and planning at both department and business levels. Communication Skills: Strong communication and team management skills, including face-to-face and virtual presentation skills. Customer Interaction: Experience in handling sales opportunities and interacting professionally with customers. Data Analysis: Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
